I use Carbon Budgeting in my work because it provides an "apples to apples" comparison for people. It allows clients to compare electricity and transportation and heating fuels and to prioritize their efforts.
Carbon budgeting also helps people buy down the least expensive effect first, enhancing environmental progress and fostering economically sound decisions.
